A year ago the iconic Mexican metal band Agora returned with a great album titled Imperio.

Almost a decade had passed without a studio album, when Agora finally returned to the scene with Imperio. A very careful album, one could say that it is more versatile and mature, with songs that are still sufficiently elaborate.

On a lyrical level, the band explores themes never addressed, such as virtual reality, codependent relationships, including zombies. In addition, it pays tribute to animals in danger of extinction.

Imperio includes 2 special tracks in collaboration with award-winning and renowned American keyboardist Derek Sherinian ( Sons of Apollo , Black Country Communion , Dream Theater , Billy Idol , Alice Cooper ).

Agora (considered one of the best progressive metal bands in Mexico) after its two decades of career, has a reputation earned through hard work. They have shared the stage with bands of the stature of Kiss , Judas Priest , Megadeth , Deep Purple , Iron Maiden, etc.
