Conoce los Discos que marcaron el Rock y Metal desde los 90s al día de hoy a través de los ojos de reconocidos músicos venezolanos.

Ser un artista está marcado por el camino que han trazado otros, todo creador es influenciado por lo que escucha, ve o disfruta en especial durante su juventud. Eso nos lleva con el pasar del tiempo a disfrutar de una manera diferente y en retrospectiva ver lo que nos formó como artistas, creadores o pensadores desde un aspecto de espejo retrovisor. No es igual escuchar en el caso de un músico un disco en su adolescencia que disfrutarlo en su mediana edad, por eso se suele escuchar la frase “no envejeció bien con el tiempo”. La música, el cine o las series no son como las pinturas, este triangulo envejece de manera distinta y es por eso bueno revisitar el pasado para conectar y entender el presente.

Hablar con músicos que son parte importante de la escena de un país en el Rock o la música extrema y más en un lugar como Venezuela en el que las bandas suelen tener una fecha de caducidad veloz es algo que vale la pena hacer, es raro encontrar la posibilidad de saber sus opiniones sobre un momento musical que cambiaría el rumbo del metal en el mundo. La década de los años ’90 es quizás hasta más importante que la de los años ’80, ya que ella absorbe por completo los últimos dos periodos de los ’70 y ’80.

Es por eso que decidimos convocar en Trascendencia a varios de los nombres importantes del Rock y el Metal nacional para preguntarles cuales consideran que son los 20 discos que cambiaron y marcaron una vuelta de timón al Rock y Metal en general, para hacerla más peculiar decimos sumar a esta lista también los 20 discos que no debieron ser grabados y que algunos consideramos un error en la discografía de muchas bandas. El resultado ha sido curioso, muchos nombres se repiten en la lista en ambas selecciones. Algunos no pudieron solo con 20 y agregaron otros, por otro lado, hubo respuestas interesantes ante la decisión de disco que no debieron ser grabados y finalmente otros decidieron quedarse con los clásicos con los que crecieron.
